Christmas Emerald Candy Cane Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 2 Candy Canes

  • 1 Jumbo Marshmallow / 1 regular sized Marshmallow or 10 mini Marshmallows

  • Green Food Coloring – a few drops

  • Apple Juice – 300 to 500 ml (it depends on the size of your glass)

Instructions:

      1. Put your apple juice in a regular glass and stir in the food coloring one drop at a time, until you reach the desired color.

      1. Put your marshmallow or marshmallows on a plate and pop them in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds until they melt, then take them out and stir them really well, trying to cover most of the plate with the marshmallow fluff. As soon as your marshmallow fluff is ready, take your glass and dip it persistently in it until you manage to have the rims of the glass, all covered in it.

      1. Next, we take then Candy Canes and we pop them in a zip lock bag and bash them until we have big chunks and small, fine, dusty ones. Then we divide the candy cane mixture in two. One will be the big, chunky pieces and one will be the small, fine, dusty ones.

      1. Now we put the small, fine, dusty candy cane bits on a plate and we take the glass and dip the rims covered in marshmallow fluff in the candy cane, until all of the marshmallow fluff is completely covered in candy cane bits and pieces.

      1. The next and final step is to put all of the remaining big chunks of candy cane inside your glass and top them with the green colored apple juice.

Prep time: 15 min

Total time: 15 min

Notes:

  • This is a non alcoholic cocktail, but if you want to bring it on the boozy side, you can always add some vodka in it and pimp it Martini style.

Tip: You can use any color of candy cane for this recipe and you can replace the marshmallows with regular marshmallow fluff.
